Authorized bodies are divided into three categories:
Category 1: bodies allowed to provide all types of activities, provide 30 hours which is the accreditation limit, and organize major conferences and seminars in accordance with
SCFHS' regulations, namely:
- Scientific health associations.
- Medical and health schools at public and private universities.
- Larger public and private hospitals with a minimum capacity of 500 beds.
- Specialized hospitals and centers.
Category 2: public universities with a capacity ranging from 100 to 499 beds. They may organize lectures and workshops, provided that each activity does not exceed 15 hours, in addition to domestic activities. They may also participate in other activities to receive more hours, such as major conferences and seminars in cooperation with scientific health associations, medical schools or specialized hospitals in accordance with SCFHS' regulations.
Category 3: other bodies in the healthcare sector, represented in public health institutes, private health institutes licensed by SCFHS, centers licensed by SCFHS to provide continuous medical and professional education and scientific health clubs, etc. They may organize general seminars and workshops, provided that each activity does not exceed 10 hours, in accordance with SCFHS' regulations.
