Professional Practice Executive Council is responsible for professional classification and registration executive decisions and regulations in accordance with SCFHS accredited regulations and bylaws adopted by the Board of Trustees.
Professional Practice Executive Council aims to approve the executive regulations governing health professional practice and classification of professional ranks, in addition adopting to means to develop health professions in Saudi Arabia.
Professional Practice Executive Council is regulated by the Secretary General of the SCFHS.
Professional Practice Executive Council consists of specialized, experienced and qualified members in every health profession including the Secretary General as the chairman.
The role of Professional Practice Executive Council:
In consistent with SCFHS accredited regulations and bylaws the Professional Practice Executive Council undertakes the following tasks:
Participating in implementing the annual strategic plan concerning the professional practice.
Studying and suggesting modification of classification and professional practice bylaws.
Studying and suggesting modification of professional assessment bylaws related to professional classification procedures or professional practice.
Studying and suggesting modification of CME bylaws.
Studying and adapting recommendations that can contribute to developing the performance in health professions.
Updating and adapting the professional classification and registration executive regulations, professional classification and professional practice executive regulations related to assessment, and the CME executive regulations.
Adapting the establishment of new professional councils.
Discussing the issues referred to the council by the board of trustees or the Secretary General concerning the professional practice.
