SCHS Signs Agreement with Pearson VUE To Deliver Computer-Based Health Major Exams

The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties has signed an agreement with Pearson VUE, according to which the global company provides SCHS’ exams in a number of health specialties.

The signing was attended by SCHS’ General Secretary, Prof. Sulaiman Bin Amran Al-Amran, Pearson VUE’s Senior Vice President, Dr. Gary Gates, and Managing Director in EMEA, Mr. Matthew Poyiadgi, SCHS’ Business Development Manager in ME, Mr. Bilal Sabouni and the General Manager of Public Relations and Media, Mr. Abdullah Al-Zahian. 

As per the agreement, the company will be able to provide computer-based exams inside and outside of the kingdom; alongside to Prometric Co. that provides another form of SCHS’ exams. This will be of great benefit to health practitioners, saves them effort and time and facilitates their transactions, while maintaining highest levels of medical efficiency as per international standards. Pearson VUE enables the examinees to take the exam in the company’s affiliates around the globe.

SCHS’ Spokesman and General Manager of Public Relations and Media, Mr. Abdullah Bin Said Al-Zahian noted that SCHS aimed through this agreement to vary its channels for providing exams and to find the best services for health practitioners. Al-Zahian also indicated that the availability of more than one global channel to deliver SCHS’ exams, inside and outside of the kingdom, will provide the examinees with more choices of exam dates and locations to choose from.
