Minister of Health sponsors the International Conference on Health Specialties

His Excellency the Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, Dr. Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, will sponsor the 3rd Scientific International Conference of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties during the period from 12 to 13 April at Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh.

The official spokesman of the Authority, Abdullah Al-Zahayan, called on the concerned and interested parties to register through the website of the Authority. He pointed out that the third edition of the conference is an extension of the successes achieved in the last two editions. Keep them updated on the various health specialties, especially in the field of medical education.

He noted that the conference will include a number of prominent international and local speakers in the field of medical education and vocational training.

Al-Zahayan said that the conference coincides with the start of its strategic plan to protect and promote health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through qualified health professionals at the highest standards and best practices, and relies on a number of axes in order to achieve the aspirations of health practitioners and to meet their professional needs and enhance the capabilities of The conference will be an important platform for the exchange of health information and the latest developments, in addition to supporting the fields of training and benefiting from opportunities, and introducing the vision of the Commission towards the health sector and its mechanisms in upgrading the work to serve health practitioners, The number of hours adopted by the Commission for the Conference is 21 hours of continuous medical education.​

He pointed out that the third edition of the conference will see new additions, most notably the StandMedix, which deals with creative ideas of medical education and health promotion in the community. Each participant will be given a period of time not exceeding ten minutes to present ideas.
